Throughout essential care for new mothers and anyone who experiences a challenging time
Closing the Bones, also called Rebozo Massage is a deeply working ceremonial treatment of mainly the abdominal area and the hips.
We work on the ground and the treatment begins with the rocking (sifting) of the hips in a rebozo (scarf)
This already brings relief and space in the lower back and in the ilio sacroiliac joints and it invites you to sink deeply into yourself, to let go completely and to surrender...
Then the abdominal area and the the hips are massaged with warm oil.
This with the intention to bring bladder and uterus back into their original position. We also work on the hip bones to remove crystals (which accumulate with stress) and we'close' the hips. This can give a very earthy and A DEEPLY CONNECTED FEELING WITH YOUR TRUE SELF.
Then you become entirely wrapped up in Rebozos and healing sounds and songs are song for you !
We finish the session (entirely at your pace) with an appropriate tea mix
THE TECHNIQUE FINDS IT'S ORIGIN IN ECUADOR AS A POSTNATAL TREATMENT.
Ideally, the treatment is already applied a first time a few hours after giving birth with five repetitions in the first 40 days after birth.
After birth it's very essential to close the hips again ! This , among other things, to prevent pelvic instability and extreme fatigue in the mother. But also emotionally and spiritually it is a must!
Therefore it's the ideal birth gift for a recent postpartum mum !
BUT IT'S NOT AN EXCLUSIVE POSTPARTUM TREATMENT
The closing can be received even decades after having given birth with the same deeply transforming effects !
Even if one has not been pregnant, the treatment can have deep effects, both for women and men !
Besides the physical aspect, the treatment can give a very secure feeling, relax you deeply, release blockages and bring you to your essence so that it also can give direction to your life ! Can be very helpfull in periods with a lot of changes !
It also can do miracles in anxiety disorders, trauma, autism spectrum disorder and high sensitivity.
Closing the Bones Deeper treatments
Only give these deeper treatments, so not the basic Closing the Bones session, to recent postpartum mums as this time and care is most needed
In this treatment we start with a deep relaxation by bringing attention to the breath and by loosening shoulders, back, hips, pelvic area, arms, writs, legs, ankles and feet using the rebozo.
This ensures that you are completely 'sunk into yourself' and relaxed before we start the massage.
This is followed by the rocking of the hips in a rebozo, which brings relief into the lower back and in the ileo sacroiliac joints.
Then we start the abdominal massage (as already described) in which we work deeper on the uterus and on the fascia to eliminate fatigue and tension. Here we also integrate massage of the breast area, armpits and arms to promote lymphatic drainage, very helpful when breast feeding (this can be done with a bra kept on if this feels more comfortable for you)
Then you become entirely wrapped up in Rebozos surrounded by healing sounds and songs !
We finish the session (entirely at your pace) with an appopriate tea mix
Besides the physical aspect, the treatment can give a very secure feeling, relax you deeply, release blockages and bring you to your essence so that it also can give direction to your life ! Can be very helpful in periods with a lot of changes.
Integrating the breast region ensures a very complete treatment and a deep healing effect.
It is highly recommended, especially as a first treatment for the recent postpartum mum !
However, this treatment can be very beneficial at different times ! So it can also bring deep peace and clarity at times when there are many changes in your life (loss, miscarriage and grief, moving, separation, ...)
It also can do miracles in anxiety disorders, trauma, autism spectrum disorder and high sensitivity.

Some experiences
I got a Closing the Bones bundle gifted to me from my husband as a postpartum and birthday gift. Absolutely wonderful experience, so energising and centering and grounding, never experienced anything like it, and i could feel my third eye being activated throughout. When baby is older I will definitely try this again, as having to worry about him whilst having the treatment wasn’t ideal, and I know the experience would be even more wonderful with a free mind. Anterjot is a wonderful person and it was a pleasure to have a high vibration being giving me such a treatment. I also had a very nice ayurvedic treatment where my muscles were given the massage they truly needed after being stuck breastfeeding all day and handling a 4 year old simultaneously. Overall I will be recommending Anterjot to everyone I know! (H.Kaur 28/09/2020)
Anterjot came out to give me a Closing the Bones deeper treatment as I recently had a baby. She was absolutely AMAZING I have never felt so at ease or relaxed. My body feels more energetic already! I would highly recommend. Anterjot herself is such a lovely humble lady and brings a very calm and relaxed aroma around you.Thank you again xxxx (J.Multani 09/09/2020)
The session brought me deep into myself, my essence, my being. I felt cozy within, I felt a kind of sexual desire and the fulfilment at the same time. I connected with my femininity and felt my child from a past life;
The movements were soothing and comforting. The music and the singing gave me the space to open up completely and to connect with my Self.
It felt like a very unique, spiritual treatment not like any massage I experienced before.
Anterjot gives this treatment with a lot of loving care and devotion. Very grateful that I could experience this ancient, beautiful and unique technique. (Jai Amar 20/05/2020)
I had a closing the bones treatment/ceremony this week and I feel so much better for it 5 days post-partum. It was a lovely ceremony. I was very relaxed and comfortable throughout. This has helped me with my pelvic pain as I can already feel the benefits of the treatment. Thanks so much (Mandip Kaur , 20 /04/2024)
